If you travel with carry-on luggage, here are a few excellent options. Since carry-on size and weight restrictions vary throughout the industry, it is important to select a bag that meets your airline’s requirements.
Rimowa Salsa Cabin Multiwheel
The 32 l Rimowa Salsa Cabin Multiwheel is 21.7 x 15.7 x 7.9 and weighs 7 lbs 9 oz. The Rimowa Salsa is my favourite carry-on and works well for a trip to Europe or travel within North America.
Eagle Creek Tarmac International Carry-On
If I require a slightly smaller and lighter carry-on, the 31 l Eagle Creek Tarmac International Carry-On is an excellent choice. This bag is 20 x 14 x 8 in (expandable to 20 x 14 x 10 in) and weighs 6 lbs 10 oz.
Osprey Ozone
Designed for the fast and light traveler, the 36 l Osprey Ozone is 19 x 14 x 9 and weighs a scant 4.14 lbs. This bag is fabulous!
Larger Luggage
Tumi suitcases, Patagonia duffle bags, and Rimowa products are excellent choices if you plan to travel with larger bags.
Travel Technology
Battery Packs
Bring fully charged phones, iPads, e-readers, and computers onboard the airplane, train, boat, or in the vehicle. And pack charged battery packs (we like Piston Power Pro products), cords, and plugs.
E-readers
Loaded Kindle e-readers are excellent travel accessories.
Skyroam WiFi Hotspot
We used a Skyroam WiFi hotspot in Europe and loved it – here is why. We plan to use the upgraded Skyroam Solis (4G LTE hotspot and power bank with a protective travel case in Europe.

I swear by Tumi and Rimowa. Pricey but I have never regretted those purchases and still have all my cases and bags by both brands. The two I have never been sponsored by or affiliated with but am happy to be a customer of!
I feel the same about Tumi and Rimowa. I can travel for three-weeks with only my Rimowa Salsa carry-on ā it holds so much and is regulation cabin-size on most airlines. I’d love one of the iconic Rimowa aluminum cabin-sized bags, but I’m worried it won’t hold as much as the Salsa.
