Mercer Hotel Barcelona

You will find the luxurious Mercer Hotel Barcelona tucked away on a narrow lane in the historic Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, Spain. Don’t let the unassuming ancient stone exterior fool you. Once you step through the large doors into the lobby of this 28 room boutique hotel, the experience is unforgettable.

Welcome Amenity

The complimentary cava offered at check-in is one of many thoughtful amenities at the Mercer Hotel Barcelona.

On a sunny afternoon, the gorgeous teak rooftop terrace is the place to be – relax on a lounge chair, cool off in the rooftop plunge pool or enjoy a cocktail at the bar.

Mercer Hotel Barcelona – A Special Luxury Hotel

There are luxury hotels, and then there are luxury hotels…I have experienced both types, but I return to the latter. At these hotels, the service is flawless, the bed is one of the best you have slept in, and the attentive staff treat you like family. The Mercer Hotel Barcelona is one of these unique luxury hotels and my favourite place to stay in the capital of Catalonia.

Travel Tips:

  • Taxis and private cars will pick you up at the Mercer Hotel Barcelona, but not all of them will drive you directly to the hotel. On two occasions as I was dropped off at the corner due to vehicle restrictions.

Disclosure: I paid a media rate at the Mercer Hotel Barcelona. As always, the views expressed are my own.

Thanks Adrienne. The Mercer is fantastic! The Molton Brown amenities are plentiful and include a wonderful facewash with mineral ions. I love it when hotels offer amenities beyond the basic soap, conditioner and shampoo.
