London is one of my favourite cities. And if I’m not shopping, sightseeing with my family, or catching up with my friend Ana (read about her fabulous travels at Mrs. O Around the World), I’ll most likely be enjoying one of these great places to eat in London.
Ham Yard Hotel
In London, I always stay at the luxurious Ham Yard Hotel located in a leafy courtyard near Piccadilly Circus. I appreciate the atmosphere, amenities like the Roof Terrace, and dining options at the Ham Yard Hotel.

If you are looking for a great place to eat in London, make a reservation at the Ham Yard Bar and Restaurant. If you don’t have time for a meal, the Bar is an excellent spot for a cocktail!
Balthazar Restaurant
If I’m not dining at the Ham Yard Hotel, I often visit Balthazar for brunch or dinner. This bustling restaurant serves French bistro-style food and is open all day, seven days a week.
NOPI
NOPI is another great place to eat in London. Especially if you are a Yotam Ottolenghi (chef, restaurateur, food writer, and cookbook author) fan. Ottolenghi’s NOPI serves diners at individual tables on the main floor or at family-style seating in the basement. NOPI’s menu changes with the season, but you can expect bold flavours, vegetarian options, and tasty cocktails.

Whyte & Brown
For casual, pub-style food, head to Whyte & Brown in Kingly Court (a multi-story dining destination on Carnaby Street). Whyte & Brown focuses on free-range chicken, but there are other menu options, including vegan items. Choose to sit in the outdoor courtyard if the weather is decent.

Harrods Food Hall
Visit Harrods Department store for world-class shopping and the incredible Food Hall. Here you can purchase food to take away, dine on prepared items, or shop for wine and sweet treats.
