At busy Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), I used a self-serve kiosk and proceeded directly to the security screening line. My happiness was very much intact at this point in the journey.
Complimentary Checked Bag
Bangkok Airways Economy Class passengers are allowed one free checked bag (up to 20kg). Goodbye, tedious boarding process and overstuffed overhead bins. Hello, happiness!
Airport Lounge Access
Economy Class passengers are invited to visit the Bangkok Airways airport lounge on a complimentary basis, where there are snacks, drinks, and free WiFi. The larger Bangkok Airways lounges have computers as well as a children’s play area.
Bangkok Airways Economy Class Review – On Board Experience
My recent flights with Bangkok Airways ranged from just under 1 hour (Bangkok to Koh Samui) to approximately two hours (Bangkok to Luang Prabang).
Bangkok Airways uses an Airbus 319 aircraft with well over 100 Economy Class seats on the Bangkok to Koh Samui route. On this short flight, Economy Class passengers were offered a complimentary hot meal and drink service in an efficient and attentive manner. The service felt personal, and the Economy Class passengers seemed happy. I know I was!
